Giving To United Way A ClimateMaster Tradition

A strong, healthy community is important to ClimateMaster. For over 17 years, ClimateMaster and sister company Koax have annually assisted in making our communities stronger by donating to the United Way.
Through voluntary donations, ClimateMaster and Koax employees have donated over $55,000 each the past three years. In 2010, over 75 percent of ClimateMaster/Koax employees have participated in making our community and world a better place.
Through United Way, ClimateMaster/Koax contributions have supported the building blocks of better lives and stronger communities by striving to achieve the following goals:
• Improve education, and cut the number of high school dropouts — 1.2 million students, every year — in half.
• Help people achieve financial stability, and get 1.9 million working families — half the number of lower-income families who are financially unstable — on the road to economic independence.
• Promote healthy lives, and increase by one-third the number of youth and adults who are healthy and avoid risky behaviors.
Because the goal of improving people’s lives is ambitious and challenging, only by giving of ourselves and our resources can those goals be achieved.
After all, if ClimateMaster’s efforts can improve the lives of those around us, no price is too big.
